BAFA (By Athletes For Athletes) is a team-based marketing agency whose aim is to facilitate revenue-generating activities between businesses and college athletes.

On July 1, 2021, the world of college sports seismically shifted when the NCAA began to allow athletes to profit off of their NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness). This decision was a result of years of litigation from athletes who argued it was illegal for the NCAA to prohibit them from profiting from their NIL. They argued that, since those same athletes' NIL value has enabled the NCAA to make billions in revenue, it was unjust for the athletes to not only be left out from that revenue, but further restricted to not even profit for themselves.
